A Short and to the point speech that says it all...

Here is some B+ve dose :)

30 second Speech by Bryan Dyson (CEO of Coca Cola)

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air.

You name them - Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you're keeping all of these in the Air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four Balls - Family, Health, Friends and Spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it."

He has really got a point.. i mean its a fact that happy employees are more productive then unhappy ones. It is also a fact that your personal life affects your moods.

When you are happy someone bumps you then also youll keep smiling and sya sab chalta hai and move on.. but when you are sad or angry at sumthing or sumone then you will get irritated at small things eventually someone will ask you whats the matter dear is everything ok? and youll have no choice but to smile and say "ya everything is fine".

Take out some time for your sweetheart and let him/her know that you care, there presence does matter . Everybody loves to be needed and cared for. So put in some effort to make your family life.. go for a trip, go for that shopping trip go for that outing.. go for the fancy dress competition of your whatever works for your family and trust me your work will bounce forward with a zing and it wudnt look like a burden to you too.

When in office think about work only and give it your heart. Leave on time and avoid traffic :D and when at home forget about the work. Trust me you will be rewarded with the most beautiful moments.

Keep smiling and B+ve and have a gr8 day!:)

Kites flying high in the big skies....

So Kites, became the first movie to debut at US top 10 chart! and i coulnt be mroe proud!. Hrithik Roshan has always got the looks of a hollywood hero and this movie with a foreign actress completed the set :). Both looked really cute. However i was really dissapointed with the dance sequence with kangana. There was so much scope there for a blockbuster number and hrithik has so much talent that he could have easily pulled of something akin to "Step up". Dunno how director missed out on that..
Sometimes when i watch movies and see some so obvious technical glitches that i really wonder how could anybody for heaven's sake miss that!!!.

I think the movie industry should explore new areas and try out new experiments. They should hire testers. Yes i am proposing an integration of IT and Entertainment biz. They could really provide they very useful feedback on some really obvious and stupid technical glitches made.. which unfortunately r really obvious on big screen.

Both are looking undeniably cute..:P But i must say i didnt expect the movie to do so well in foreign markets, now that it has it has got me thinking that instead of just waiting for hollywood to come here, we can just make bollywood so large that people will crave coming here.. anyways its entirely a possibility. Plus if seen from a purely economic point of view, if a movie is hit abroad you earn in dollars so anyway your profit doubles up. cool nai?

Twitter Rescues lost, injured triathlete

okay so here i was surfing news again and this headline caught my eyes.. and i was like wait a minute is this for real.

yeah it was, thats the power of networking. I think we can let go of the phrase that we are closer to virtual strangers and doesnt care about our friends now that we are so busy.
The instant update feature lets you share more with your network than any form of coummunication and of course cant beat actual taking with anything but isnt this fun to be able to share simple thoughts with so many people in a sec. I would definitely know to whom to turn next time i get stuck anywhere..:)
It a gr8 comradeship shown my her followers but then thats what friends are for.. isnt it :)

Real Life Engineers

Heres our "WOW" to the heros of INDIA:

Today we are featuring Mr. Jahanagir from Maharashtra.

Following are some snippets of the achievements(Source:
of this man who without any help turned scooters into super machines" the real life rancho, whose scooter was used by Amir Khan in 3 idiots.

"Belonging to a poor family, he had to give up studies after his 1st standard and do odd jobs to support the household. His father sent him to his aunt's place in Malkapur (in interior Maharashtra) to study. But they forced him 'to look after the cattle and made him do other household chores'.

Perhaps, this was a blessing in disguise for him. Life turned out to be his biggest teacher. His mind was always full of ideas despite his poverty and problems. He never thought any of these could actually be implemented, but no one could stop him from toying with new ideas."

"He built a scooter-based mobile spray painting device to get work done faster and easier. "I spend about Rs 4,000-5,000 to buy a second-hand scooter and convert it mainly into spray painting devices as they are in good demand. I have managed to sell about 5 spray painting machines for Rs 13,000-14,000," he says.

The unit is portable and can be taken anywhere he wishes. "I am looking for more buyers. There are people who have copied what I have done but I feel very proud to see them making use of a technology I devised," says Jahangir.

Today, he lends the 'scooter' to people in need. With one litre of petrol, an Ambassador car can be painted in one hour at half the charge of a normal painting."

This shows that there is solution to every problem and once again states that necessity is indeed the mother of invention!

However, if you read the article completely on the above provided link, you wil find that all this gr8 guys ever dreamed of is a nice house.

now even president met him but and so many so called vips but they all were not able to get hima home!!? what kind of educated leaders do we have ?
He is currently tryng to get some sponsors. I hope he gets some soon. India is really in need to produce more products. We need to become more product based isntead of service based.

If anybody out reading this article knows somebody who you think might be able to help Jahangir then please do contact him at:
Mobile number: 9422282938

Thank You. We will be back soon with another drop of rainbow.

Me and the World

Today i was reading the news and while surfing saw this "Visa on arrival scrapped for Indians in Malaysia".. (Source: IBN Live)

At first i was outraged, why are we always targetted!!. We contribute so much brains to other companies and then we r being discriminated. On reading the news further i realised that to some extent their authorities were completely justified in imposing this ban due to this illegal entries being commited there. These problems have been happening in many companies. Americans are scared since "we take their job".. wierd mentality if you ask me...

but the immigration problem is real, and in its base lies the fact that everbody want to live n an organised world where cleanliness and basic rights are accepted and cherished.
however, does sacrficing your self esteem justify it? How come everybody follow the same laws implemented in other countries but refuse to keep place clean in their own country . WHY?

WHY don't you feel even an ounce of guilt or consience prickle when you throw garbage on the road whereas shake in your booty when you are on foriegn soil?

Its not completely bleak picture there are loads of people out there who are working there arse off to help others, but they need our support. I think thats the least we can do. So with this thought today i changed the image on my blog to "Let The Freedom Rule!" created by myself :). Becoz i have a dream where Engineers will actually implement their education to make this Country a brain hub not just a outsourcing hub.

A place where innovation is appreciated, coveted and encouraged and recognised.
